Vegan egg using chia seeds

Suitable for baking and stove top cooking, this vegan egg using chia seeds recipe provides a simple and effective replacement using plant-based ingredients.

Ingredients

• 1 tbsp chia seeds
• 3 tbsp water

Instructions

• In a small bowl or cup, combine the chia seeds with water.
• Keep stirring gently for a few more seconds until all the seeds have been in contact with water. Chia tends to float until it is fully mixed in with water or other liquids.
  
• Use the vegan egg immediately for cooking or baking.
