Vegan egg using chia seeds
Suitable for baking and stove top cooking, this vegan egg using chia seeds recipe provides a simple and effective replacement using plant-based ingredients.
Servings 1 vegan egg
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 3 tbsp water
In a small bowl or cup, combine the chia seeds with water.
Keep stirring gently for a few more seconds until all the seeds have been in contact with water. Chia tends to float until it is fully mixed in with water or other liquids.
Use the vegan egg immediately for cooking or baking.
