How to cook brown rice
Step by step instructions on how to cook brown rice. For a nice flavor we use butter a little bit of salt, and slow cooking.

- 4 cups brown rice
- 7 cups water
- 50 g butter Not all butters are equal. Choose high quality butters for the best flavor and nutrition.
- 1/4 tbsp salt
Add the rice, salt, butter and cold water into a large pan and bring to a boil.
Reduce to simmer and let it cook for 45 minutes.
Turn off the stove, stir gently and let it finish cooking for another 10 minutes.
