We are in the mango season in the US at the moment: you can buy them at many stores and they are juicy, naturally sweet and quite large. Layla bought a few passion fruits for her recipes, and some of them are left for the family to eat with other things. This morning Marc opted for a mango, we added passion fruit and pomegranate. This fruit salad with mango, passion fruit, pomegranate is easy to make, nutritious and a zero-sodium breakfast. It is also free of refined carbohydrates and contains no gluten.
Fruit salad with mango, passion fruit, pomegranate
- 1 mango
- 1 passion fruit
- 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
- Peel the mango and cut chunks around the bone.
- Slice the passion fruit in half and pour its content, seeds and juice, on the mango chunks.
- Cut a pomegranate and sprinkle a few seeds on top of the fruit salad.
